Dover Personal Trainer announces changes for the new year at CNU Fit

It’s that time of year again when people realize how thankful they are for what they have, but also start to think about the way they want their lives to change in the new year; CNU Fit is no different! This year has been full of great accomplishments and wonderful additions to our family, but as the year has started to wind down we’ve realized that in order to maximize our impact of empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves we need to make some changes in the New Year.

To start we’d like to thank you all for your support throughout the year. We wouldn’t be where we are without any of you and we mean it from the bottom of our hearts when we say you are our family! Our biggest joys come from seeing you and helping you reach your goals -- we feel blessed that we are a part of your journey to a happy, healthy life in which you can be confident in yourself and thrive. As we move into the new year, we greatly appreciate the support you continually provide for us.

The first changes we’d like to tell you about is the construction that has gone on in the studio for the past couple of weeks! If you’ve come in for a session you’ve probably noticed the staff pulling up the carpets and knocking down some walls, but don’t worry! Now we have a brand new carpet on the training side of the studio as well as a brand new layout for the store. The store is bigger, brighter, and it’s now easier to access all the goodies you need to reach your fitness goals (but also eat some treats along the way). The store is also split now, so the ladies who enjoy the Curve’s side of the studio have the same access to our products without having to walk to the other side! We are super excited about this change and are looking for some more products to fill our shelves, so if you have any suggestions let us know! We want to stock things that will help you along your fitness journey!

In the new year you will also notice some changes in staff. Yesterday was Deborah’s last day at CNU Fit. About two weeks ago she approached us and let us know that while she loves all of you at CNU Fit, personal training is not her passion and she has recently been offered an opportunity to work in a field more closely related to her ultimate dream of becoming an occupational therapist. Though we are sad to see her go, we are so supportive of her following her dreams! And don’t worry, she’ll forever be a part of our CNU Fit family!

TJ will also be moving on to pursue his passion of stretching; he will no longer be on the floor as a trainer, but you will still see him on the schedule for stretching sessions! His main goal for the new year is to build out our stretching program and continue to provide relief for our clients after a long, hard workout. So if you start to miss training with TJ and need some quality time with him, just book a stretching session! He will use his expertise to help eliminate your pain and stiff muscles, and help you relax.

Moving forward we have a few trainers in the interview process, but we are taking our time to make sure that whomever we bring to our team will fully align with our core values and are looking for a long-term career in the personal fitness industry. Our main objective is to make your experience at CNU Fit the best it can possibly be, so our new hires  will be ambitious, knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals!

We are also excited to announce that in the new year we will be the first personal fitness studio in the area that will offer its staff members salary with a growth based bonus structure, as well as retirement funding and health care. We know that to better empower individuals to be the best versions of themselves, we need to empower our employees to maximize the potential of their careers. Our new salary model, as well as the schedule changes you all have already experienced, will allow our staff to feel secure in their career which in turn allows them them to focus their energy into helping you reach the goals you set for yourselves.

And because this is the time of year when individuals start setting goals for themselves, we’d like to share our New Year’s goals with all of you! By the end of March 2018 our goal is to have 200 clients and begin to establish a second location in Milford. Our ultimate vision is to empower as many individuals to be the best versions of themselves as we can, so while this is an ambitious goal we continue to walk in faith that we will reach and exceed the goals we set for ourselves in the new year.

Moving forward we ask that you, our clients, our CNU Fit family, have patience for the changes we will experience, because it is through your guidance and support that we have been able to reach our goals and will continue to reach our goals. We appreciate and respect your viewpoints and ideas so please don’t hesitate to tell us what you think about all these changes! We want to know because everything we do is to make your experience the best it can be!

And with that we hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are so blessed to have you!
