We are so excited to announce that Amanda Butkus has been promoted from Exercise Physiologist to Senior Exercise Physiologist!
To celebrate, we asked her some questions:
What are you most excited about when it comes to this promotion?
- ~Getting to continue to grow as a person and as a team at CNU Fit.
What's your biggest passion when it comes to personal training? What part is your favorite?
- ~Biggest passion is being able to customize programs to clients' needs. Being able to help clients not in just a physical way but mentally as well. We have clients that come with different goals so helping each individual work towards that and having fun at the same time is the best.
How has working for CNU Fit changed your perspective about the fitness industry?
- ~Working at CNU Fit completely changed my perspective about the fitness industry. I did a lot of group classes and at one point wanted to be a group class instructor but after observing here during school I wouldn’t be able to be a group class instructor. I absolutely love focusing on the clients and training to their specific needs. Making sure they are doing exercises with form and even helping them to do exercises they could not do before.
What continued education have you completed over the past year and are looking to complete in 2022?
~I am looking forward to the SRT certification we have coming up in Feb 2022!!
