6 Ways to Stay On Track With Your Weight Loss Goals
Staying on track with your weight loss goals can sometimes feel like that illusion game where the object is to keep track of the ball underneath a certain cup as they get shuffled rapidly right in front of you. Although it starts out fairly easy, inevitably when finished your brain starts to stumble as it blends together and before you know it you, the ball is lost.
One would think it would be as easy as paying attention, but as anyone who has maintained weight loss goals can tell you, if it were that easy then we’d all be fit and healthy. If you’ve ever struggled with finding that balance then this list is for you.
1. Schedule Grocery shopping
The number one challenge is not having the food available in your household. Schedule a time on the calendar!!
2. Sunday Routine
Have a set time to prep all of your food including protein, rice, veggies and any other heavy cooking. Therefore during the rest of the week all you have to do is ensure that your portions are correct.
3. Morning/Night Routine
Make sure you are building your meals for the day and then pack for the day! If mornings are in a rush, do the same thing at night!
4. Cool Water Bottle
This is a creative way to change up the way you are drinking water. Its fun, exciting, and keeps you engaged!! (Optimal water is about 1/2 the amount of your body weight in ounces.)
5. Get An Accountability Partner
We need somebody who will help us stay accountable!! Grab a partner and make sure that they will hold you accountable.
6. Clean Pantry
Take out the foods that will compromise your goals but make sure to keep things on hand that you need for you meal plan.
