Protein Pancakes

If you like pancakes, but can’t afford the carbs in your diet than this pancake recipe is a game changer. Low carb, low fat, but very high in protein, these pancakes will leave you full and focused throughout your morning.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Quest Multi-purpose Protein Powder
  • 1 egg
  • 28 grams soft cream cheese (you can use fat free or full fat)
  • 1 cup of liquid (water or almond milk are the best options)
  • dash of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (in this recipe we use truvia, but you can also use stevia or splenda)
  • fruit (optional)
  • whipped cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat up a pan on medium heat
  2. Mix together all ingredients thoroughly
  3. Spray pan with non-stick zero-calorie cooking spray
  4. Ladle pancake mix into pan cook about 2 minutes on each side until raised and golden brown
  5. Top with berries and cream and enjoy!
