Recipe: Morning Cup O’ Joe Banana Smoothie

Is it just me, or does this summer seem abnormally hot and humid? 

When the weather is like this the last thing I want to do is stand in front of the stove and feel the hot air against my face, let alone drink a cup of hot coffee to help wake me up. For breakfast there’s a lot of different options that won’t cause you to sweat; probably one of the easiest (and tastiest) options is the smoothie. But what if you could combine your breakfast with your coffee? Now that would be a win-win situation. Check out this recipe below for an easy, quick, and tasty way to start your mornings during the hot summer!

**The grams listed is the macro
nutrient, protein, not the weight.

Ingredients:

**14 grams protein powder

2 oz. Non fat greek vanilla yogurt

2 x 2” frozen banana chunks

1 1/2 Tbsp. peanut butter

coffee or water
ice

liquid/ice amount is preference

 

Directions:

Blend together and enjoy! 🙂
